About the organizer

The Citrus County Fair is an annual late-March fair held at the Citrus County Fairgrounds just south of Inverness, Florida. It was founded in 1920, and a formal Fair Association was chartered after a 1947 windstorm destroyed the exhibit tents, with the fair at its current grounds by 1948. It remains an agricultural showcase for local 4-H and FFA youth, alongside family entertainment and midway attractions.
